[R. Klehm 1999]  Lactiflora: Spectacular, Japanese-style flower with dramatic, two-tone center. A ring of broad, fuchsia guard petals surrounds a huge center of creamy petaloids interspersed with fuchsia accents. The flowers are delightfully fragrant. Attractive foliage on compact shrubs easily carry the blooms aloft. Stems typically have one to three buds. Blooms midseason.
