[Tolomeo 2010] Itoh: Huge, fully double flowers are bright yellow and lightly frilled.  The fullness of the flowers sets a new standard for Itohs. The petal have dusky pink flares which are usually hidden.  Handsome foliage is full with plants forming a broad, low shrub. The spectacular flowers are carried on robust stems that don't require staking. A truly exceptional peony and decidedly one of Irene Tolomeo's greatest hybridizing achievements. It's odd name was Irene's garden shorthand for Yellow (Ye) Double (Do). Blooms midseason.
