[Saunders 1941] Herbaceous Hybrid: Strikingly beautiful single flowers are warm, dark maroon and presented above bright green foliage on attractive shrub. The intense coloration on this cultivar is extremely colorfast, with no fading. One of the lesser known Saunders' hybrids and a personal favorite. Blooms early.
