[Glasscock 1980]  Herbaceous Hybrid: Large, fully double peony in dark, lustrous red with so many petals packed into each flower that they open into a huge round globe. Spectacular in full bloom! Attractive shrubs have bright green foliage. Very showy and a customer favorite. Also a great cut flower. Blooms early midseason.
