[R. Klehm 1995]  Lactiflora: Unusual novelty that resembles a cactus flowered dahlia. Deep rose streaked blossoms have narrow petals that twist and turn as they surround the bright cluster of yellow stamens in the center. Husky, deep green foliage and strong stems. Interesting seed pods add interest later in the season. Extremely tolerant of wind and rain. Fragrant! Spectacular choice for floral designs. Blooms early midseason.
