[Anderson/Seidel 1996] Itoh: This intersectional or Itoh hybrid is the result of a cross between a tree peony and an herbaceous cultivar. The semi-double flowers are pale lavender upon opening washed with shades of cream, yellow and peach providing highlights. Black purple flares create a dramatic effect. Excellent, vigorous dark green foliage and strong stems make this a carefree choice for the landscape. Lovely fragrance. Blooms midseason.
