[Saunders 1950]  Herbaceous Hybrid: Warm rose pink, single flowers are washed with salmon and a touch of silver.  The center is accented with a crown of yellow stamens with showy red filaments around a center of dark pink carpels. Compact plants hold the flowers above the cut-leaf foliage like a bouquet. This early hybrid is a cross between P. mlokosewitschi x P. tenuifolia. A charming variety that brings a simple elegance to the landscape. Wonderfully fragrant and one of the first to flower. Blooms very early.
