[Krekler 1967]  Lactiflora:  An unusual wine-red, Japanese anemone style flower with a fluffy center of dark, cream-tipped petals interspersed with white, creating a striking color combination that always attracts attention. Large, showy flowers are carried above the foliage on sturdy stems.  Sweetly fragrant. One of our favorites! Blooms midseason to late midseason.
