[Krekler 1967]  Lactiflora:  An unusual wine-red, Japanese anemone style flower with a fluffy center of dark, cream-tipped petals interspersed with white to create a striking color combination that always attracts attention, making this a customer favorite. Flowers are carried above the foliage on sturdy stems.  Sweetly fragrant. Blooms midseason to late midseason.
