[Niva / Snelson 1999] Lactiflora: Dark, vibrant pink Japanese-style flowers are carried on tall, strong stems creating an eye-catching spot of color in the garden. The center petaloids are pink edged in peachy cream. An abundance of side buds extends the bloom season. This Oregon original is well-suited to our climate in Pacific Northwest where it stands up against both wind and rain. A lovely landscaper, it also makes a nice cut flower. Blooms early midseason.
