[R. Klehm 1995]  Lactiflora: Single, cactus-dahlia type flowers feature pale green petals with brush-strokes of dusty rose pink on the petal extremities surrounding a center of yellow stamens. The rose coloration becomes more pronounced as the flowers age as shown in the accompanying photographs. One of the longest blooming varieties we grow, adding interest with its changing colors. Glossy burgundy seed pods add additional interest. Mild fragrance. Outstanding heat tolerance and one our most warm hardy peonies. Prized for floral design. Most unusual! Blooms midseason.
