[R. Klehm 1999]  Lactiflora: Unusual semi-double flowers with white-tipped, pistachio green petals surrounding a central boss of yellow stamens topped with a center pouf of fluffy white petals. Smaller than traditional peonies, there are often two flowers per stem. A favorite for floral design, blooms are followed by attractive seed pods adding additional interest. Spectacular in a mixed bouquet with pink peonies. Lightly fragrant and a "must have" for the collector! Blooms midseason.
