[Krekler 1965]  Lactiflora: Unique Japanese-style flowers have rows of apple blossom pink petals surrounding an inner circle of golden staminodes with a center tuft of petals creating a frilly and romantic effect. Strong growing, upright plants have good stems. Pretty in the landscape and a lovely cut flower. Blooms midseason.
