[Auten 1962]  Lactiflora: Garnet red anemone-style flowers are reminiscent of Bing cherries and are sunfast. Compact shrubs have strong, upright stems. Fall foliage color is dark wine red, adding another season of interest. Rarely available. Blooms midseason.
