[Anderson 1986] Itoh: Semi-double flowers are pure white with a satiny finish and accented with dark purple flares reminiscent of it's tree peony parentage. Rich green foliage is deeply notched and carried on handsome shrubs that are slightly broader than they are tall. Flowers are lightly fragrant. Named after the hybridizer's grandmother, this delightful peony is an outstanding choice for the landscape. Blooms midseason.
