[Anderson 1999] Itoh: Creamy, buff yellow flowers are semi-double and highlighted with maroon flares and a matching picotee edge. This coloration is reminiscent of its tree peony patronage. Flowers are carried on long, strong stems above handsome shrubs that are low and broad, typically twice as wide as they are tall. Like most Itoh peonies, we love the unusual flower color, handsome foliage, plant habit and long flowering season. Blooms midseason.
