[Hollingsworth 1984]  Itoh: An intersectional or Itoh peony resulting from a cross between an herbaceous and tree peony. Fragrant, golden yellow flowers are single to semi-double and accented with dusky red flares at the base of the petals. Growth habit is low and broad with foliage that has the distinctive look and vigor of its tree peony parent. An early addition to the Itoh group and an outstanding landscape plant. Blooms midseason.
