[Auten 1943]  Lactiflora: Rich, garnet red, bomb-style double has large showy flowers with heavy substance. Tall and stately, this outstanding performer has sturdy stems and plenty of flowers. Wonderful fragrance, which is unusual in red peonies. One of our more warm hardy varieties, this cultivar grows and blooms well in milder climates. Blooms early midseason.
