[R. Klehm 2003]  Lactiflora: Japanese-style flowers with a double row of cerise-red guard petals surrounding a creamy white center with matching cerise tipped stigmas. The fragrant flowers are born in profusion with two to three buds per stem. Excellent foliage on robust plants. A reliable performer here in the Pacific Northwest with superior wind and rain resistance. Blooms midseason.
