[ R. Klehm  2000]  Lactiflora: Unusual single flowers are baby ribbon pink with heavily notched petal borders that create a unique silhouette. Blossoms have good substance and open flat to highlight the garnet-red carpals and pistols. A prolific bloomer, typically producing two to four buds per stem. Attractive shrubs are compact and don’t require staking or support. Seed pods add additional interest. Light fragrance. Blooms midseason.
