[Tischler 1967]  Lactiflora: Large, beautifully formed, double flowers are a rich, dark pink with an occasional yellow stamen peeking out from between the petals. Shrubs are nicely shaped with sturdy stems that hold the blooms aloft without support. Also a choice cut flower, both the plant and the flowers deserve high merit. Blooms midseason.
