[Auten 1946]  Lactiflora: Awarded the APS Gold Medal, this Japanese-style peony offers an unusual color combination with a broad base of orchid-pink guard petals surrounding a contrasting globe of mixed petaloids in darker rose-pink to red mixed interspersed with light blush. Mildly fragrant, distinctive and beautiful. An Award of Landscape Merit selection. Blooms late midseason.
