[Marx/Rogers 1981]  Lactiflora: Fully double flowers are light salmon upon opening and accented with a center marbled with red petals. A Pacific Northwest introduction, colors are more pronounced in cool weather. Wonderfully fragrant. Handsome shrubs have dark green foliage and good stems. One of the last peonies to bloom, this is an excellent choice for extending the bloom season. Blooms very late.
